Create your work
for the Fiftieth Anniversary
Official rules and registration form for the free-forging celebratory event.
Event
rules
Participating blacksmiths will be entirely free to express, through their mastery, a personal thought about the Biennial. The aim is to create a body of works celebrating the event through the multiplicity of eyes, experiences and lives of the people who have lived it over the years.
During the event, on 4 and 5 September 2026, 6 forges will be fully and continuously available to blacksmiths who wish to use them, individually or in groups, to create works live.
19:00 — 22:00
16:00 — 19:00
Each forging session will last a maximum of 3 hours, during which materials and equipment will be provided.
The pieces produced will be property of the Biennial, which undertakes to acknowledge and give visibility to the authors. The works will be displayed in a dedicated area during the event and later published and promoted through the Biennial’s official social channels and media.
Participation is completely free, but registration is required to ensure smooth and proper organisation.
