“Myths and Magic” is the theme of the Blacksmithing World Championship

Charcoal forge, anvil, hammer, and the mastery of blacksmiths: registrations are now open for the 12th World Forging Championship, this year inspired by the theme “Myths and Magic.”

Blacksmiths from all over the world will gather in Casentino to compete—either individually or in teams—and create artistic ironworks that showcase their skill, craftsmanship, and creativity.

But the event is more than a competition: it’s also a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas, refine forging techniques, and share best practices within an international community of artisans.
