The Masters of the Biennale in Anghiari on May 1st for the 50th Tuscan Handicraft Market Exhibition

The European Biennale of Blacksmithing Art will take center stage in the renowned town of Anghiari for the 50th edition of the “Mostra Mercato dell’Artigianato della Valtiberina Toscana”, taking place from April 25 to May 4. This event celebrates outstanding craftsmanship, showcasing the artistry, skill, and creativity that have become a cultural heritage of the region.

The forges will be fired up on May 1st, when several blacksmiths from the Biennale will perform a live forging demonstration. Glowing metal will take shape under the rhythm of hammer blows, right before visitors’ eyes. Lovers of handmade beauty will have the rare chance to admire the ancient art of wrought ironworking up close—an art form where the artisans’ talent and precision shine most vividly. In addition, a selection of exquisite handcrafted pieces created by Italian and international blacksmiths who have participated in past editions of the Biennale will be on display.
